So... I get it. Some days you are just so tired, and you'd rather let life take its course. But having things written down will make you feel better, especially on days when you would rather think less and do. If you have a weekly plan written down, all you need to do is follow it. And if you can't? Hey, please don't beat yourself up over it. Just readjust and see what needs to be done. But I hear you, planning can feel stressful sometimes. Here are 3 fun planning tips I use to ensure that I plan efficiently.

(Disclaimer: I have affiliate links below to recommend some products I love using.)

1.Light a candle

I recently purchased this Lemongrass and Gingle candle via Shopee Singapore from a Singapore company called 'To be Calm'. I was actually looking for a specific scent—lemongrass and Ginger. For my international visitors, they are also selling this candle on Amazon! To my surprise, they do make this scent. After searching for a while, it seems they are the only local company that makes this scent. I light it with my nifty candle warmer, so it casts a lovely warm orange glow while the smell gently wafts around my desk. It keeps me in an uplifted mood while I plan anything, and puts me in a relaxed mode. I prefer using a candle warmer rather than lighting the candle, because it's so much safer. Here's my candle warmer link (On Shopee for Singapore buyers and Amazon for the rest) if you want to purchase the same one as mine! Said candle warmer picture:

2.Choose a planner that you will enjoy using

If you like paper planners, spend some time choosing a paper planner that you enjoy. If you own an iPad, I will highly recommend putting it to good use. If you are one of those type A people, you can erase things easily and write things down so there is less anxiety over a messy planner. I have a free daily planner PDF here that you can use to jot down daily items to keep track of and write down your thoughts. Whatever your choice of writing platforms, make sure you choose the planner you enjoy using. I see many people insist on bullet journaling, only to give up the habit later because it doesn't suit them. If a structured approach with lists or an hourly approach works, then do it! Don't limit yourself to a particular aesthetic or planning type just because it looks good ok TikTok. Choose what works for you!

3.Use stickers

I am a big fan of stickers, whether on paper or online. Stickers make everything just so much more fun! You can use stickers on paper, or if you're using GoodNotes on iPad, the app comes with plenty of free stickers. Use stickers to note the weather, put emojis, and so on. Etsy also has tons of sellers who make stickers for use with GoodNotes, so be sure to look them up!

If you use paper, you can also consider making your own stickers with this nifty sticker maker. So this is a portable sticker maker that uses thermal technology. It prints in black and white, but you can always go crazy with your colouring pencils. I think it's such a fun way of ensuring that you plan and you can also print out photos of your day too! I'll be honest, I haven't tried it yet, but once I get round to it, I will update this post! (This is available on Shopee Singapore, and also on Amazon!)
